Mission: To promote and support "sailing for everyone" regardless of ability, financial status and age throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

Who We Are: Sailability Jacksonville Inc. is the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia organization affiliated with Sailability International, a movement that facilitates on-water activity for "everyone" through fully integrated, community based sailing programs.

Sailability Jacksonville is part of a nationwide membership organization that promotes and supports fully integrated community based sailing programs.

Participation will be open to all individuals who want  to  learn to sail and possess the capability to safely operate the specially equipped boats.  Most circumstances involving disabilities or economic difficulties can be accomodated.   A minimum age of 10 has been established as the only age requirement.

  Kick-off funding is provided through a $5000 City of Jacksonville grant.

The principle aim of Sailability is to provide the opportunity for "sailing for everyone," regardless of age (except for a minimum age of 10), ability, ethnicity, or economics. Through Sailability, individuals and communities alike will benefit from the delightful and challenging equality facilitated on the water.

Sailability also offers a number of opportunities to become involved socially and competitively locally, nationally and internationally.
