Boats Arrive

A major milestone for Sailability Jacksonville, Inc. occurred in February of 2002 when six Access 303 Dinghies arrived from Australia.  Two of the boats has been purchased and Sailability Jacksonville is seeking sponsors for the other four.

A sponsoring individual or company is entitled to benefits including tax deductable privileges, your name or your company's name on the boat, and free sailing and water safety insruction for two people as well as VIP access to your sponsored boat.  Name recognition for you or your company will be enhanced by having your named boat seen on the water and possibly on local and national television.

Sponsorship of a boat is just $5,000.00 and the benefits above are just the beginning.  Your boat will be used to provide sailing instruction for individuals who, because of economic, cultural, or physical disadvantages may otherwise never enjoy the adventure of sailing and the joy of being on the water.

Sailability and similar organizations have repeatedly demonstrated that boating and sailing can be a life-enhancing experience for all of us, including those who are experiencing economic, physical, or cultural challenges.  As a sponsor or volunteer you will have the opportunity to share your enthusiasm and knowledge with others, while enjoying the sailing experience yourself.
