Sail Days
The meeting agreed that we should aim, in the future, to sail once a week on the same day each week, and Tuesday was chosen. In the short term we will endeavour to sail every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. As Easter is upon us we decided the next sail day should be Tuesday 20th April.

Marketing Sailability
Brian was enthusiastic that we should get a video/PowerPoint presentation together to tell locals, concillors, politicians, etc. what Sailability is about. Bob put his hand up to cobble something together. If you have good images or video of our sailing days please let us know.

Training Manuals and Welcome Kits
We have copies of manuals used at other branches. Catherine volunteered to use these as a basis for our own sailing manuals to cover all aspects of what we do. We also need separate welcome kits for potential volunteers as well as carer organisations and sailors.

Grant Applications and Media Releases
Teresa admitted to some expertise in these areas and volunteered to help out. Please feel free to put forward any ideas for publicity. We need as much as we can get.

Causeway Lake Infrastructure Proposal
I've attached a copy of a proposal that we'd like to submit to Council very soon. Please take time to look at it and give us feedback. If you think it's good, tell us. If you think we are on the wrong track please point us in the right direction. Your input is valued.

Bernie investigated water depths at the Causeway Lake last week and the new sailing area shown on the proposal is based on his observations. We should be able to sail from a jetty on the south side of the lake up to the deeper water off the rock wall. This will make us very visible to passing traffic. Especially with a large banner. Anyone with banner making connections?

Web Site
sailabilitycapricornia.org is in progress. Based on a WordPress blog. If anyone out there has time and experience with this stuff your help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Steve
