Since then, this branch has become the focus of sailing for the people of Sydney's Greater West. We sail with disability groups and school groups two to three days per week. Sailability Penrith Lakes has more than 100 members, including sailors and volunteers. Our fleet consists of 18 dinghies, including two Access Breezes, six Access 2.3s, seven Access 303s (which are all 2-seaters), one single-seater Access 303, as well as two Walker Bays (which can carry four persons each). Sailability Penrith Lakes has the use of its own shed, pontoon and wheelchair hoist. Our branch has Yachting Australia qualified staff (YATC). Sailability Penrith Lakes has received support from Penrith Council, Sydney International Regatta Centre, AMP, National Australia Bank, Western Weekender Newspaper, Penrith RSL Club, Nepean Rowing Club, Emu Plains Lions Club, Bendigo Bank North Richmond, Rotary Club of Penrith and The Great Walk Foundation. Volunteering We are always looking for more volunteers to help with our sailing programs. You don't have to know how to sail. We will teach you.
