Sailability Cronulla

Sailability Cronulla was established in 1998 thanks to the vision and dedication of Stephen & Loueze Churm and Dave & Chris Rees. At a meeting in the March of 1998 we decided to establish a branch at Cronulla Sailing Club, our aim was to have enough boats for the start of the 98 summer season. Our commitment to Freedom on the Water regardless of ability was strong with the drive and the sharing of our dream to others, the the fifth Access Dinghy was delivered in August 98 making Cronulla one of the fastest growing clubs. Thanks to the support of the local businesses, community organisations and Cronulla Sailing Club, Sailability Cronulla is a sailing success.

You step down to the edge of the Jetty and are greeted by one of our many freindly volunteers. They help you on to one of our many boats, and all you do is sit back and enjoy the ride.

At our club you get all the delights of the Port Hacking river along with the excellent accessibility of our club, including car access, train access and ferry access.

We sail Access Dinghy 2.3's double seat, single with servo equipment, Access Dinghy 303's and also Norlin 2.4Rm. Cronulla Sailing Club is completely wheelchair accessible right to the water and equipped with a personal hoist for assistance into the boats.

The Galley, the sailing clubs canteen is available on sailing days where you can enjoy yummy food and the friendly atmosphere of the Cronulla Sailing Club.
